JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Akon, a singer, songwriter, and businessman internationally known for his award-winning music, stopped by Channel 4 on Thursday, and we really didn’t want him to leave.
Akon, alongside his partners Charles Scantling, Charleston Blue Hughes, and Andre Johnson, announced the opening of Goodfellas Pizza & Wings in Jacksonville. The new pizza spot will be holding a soft opening in Jacksonville’s Norwood area on Saturday, April 20.

Now, unfortunately, Akon will not be at Saturday’s opening event. He is working on new music that will be dropping later this year. But you will see retired American football wide receiver Andre Johnson, according to Akon.
