For awhile, it looked like Washington might win its first state 4A championship easily. Then Nease's Patrick Barker scored on a 7-yard run with 4:04 left in the third quarter and the Panthers converted a 2-point pass. But a missed 34-yard field goal and a stalled offense in the fourth quarter gave Washington its first-ever state championship. More
